Who are we & What do we stand for?
We are wedding professionals who make possible fabulous weddings on very reasonable budgets. We believe the bride should not be limping without an an arm and a leg after paying for the wedding expenses... To make your life easy, we aim to offer various service packages, available at our location or yours, however, you may choose any one service or any combination: officiant (minister), photographer, ceremony music (mini DJ), florist, planner, speech writer, and/or our wedding garden in Rosemount.
We are all passionate about helping to make weddings beautiful, memorable, and affordable events. We started in 2004 out of our own frustration in dealing with the "wedding industry": you must do this, you must buy all that, you cannot have the other... oh, and by the way, it only costs a billion.
Our services are priced to what we feel is a fair charge for the time we put in and our relatively low overhead costs. We're happy to meet with you as much as you need. Each service we offer is staffed by several professionals we you can rest assured that we'll be there, no matter what life brings between now and your wedding day... peace of mind that others cannot offer.
Maureen is our weddings scheduling specialist & customer service manager and she coordinates several wedding ministers and photographers, the florist, and the invitations ladies, who all work hard to deliver really nice wedding ceremonies and wedding photo albums at very reasonable prices. As she is a mom, she's really good at keeping us all in line ;)
Moreover, while we're always ready to share with you from our experience and give you our advice based on the experience of several hundred weddings, we also believe that your wedding should reflect your wishes and personalities, so, short of committing a misdemeanor, we'll do whatever you want for your wedding. Whether you want a pious or a pagan ceremony, dignified pictures or downright wacky, traditional readings or modern poems, or want your recessional to be something by Snoop Dog, hey, we're here for you, and just for you! Thy wish is our command!! Please express your first command by using the online calendar, which will tell you who's available and when, and it will let you book us and pay for the reservation via Paypal's secured and encrypted system - or simply book online and mail a check if that makes you feel safer.

Given that your found us through an Internet search, and that our reservations and payments happen over the Internet you might be wondering: Is it safe? Yes, it is. Here are a few things we can share with you to help you determine that this is a legitimate business. First, each profile has our picture, full name and copies of ordination credentials. This is information you can verify with the county licensing body where we are registered. Next, see our PayPal profile. This tells you that we've been around for quite some time and that PayPal (en eBay company) has verified our information. 115 other PayPal members paid us this way - these 115 do not include hundreds of other check or credit card payments. Like they say, this is not an endorsement but it is one more fact you can consider that this is not a fly by night operation, but rather a serious group of wedding professionals. Last, you can call the office of the Secretary of State of Minnesota and ask whether Budget Weddings is a registered business or not.
